Avatar Octofin Fish

The Octofin Fish, found in the rivers of the Western Frontier, moves quickly through strong currents using its eight fins. It is very muscular, helping it swim fast, but this makes it hard to change direction quickly. Its flat body helps it hide from predators from above as it swims alone, eating snails, small fish, and worms. It lays eggs in safer rivers, and the color of the young fish changes to match their environment. Na’vi clans often eat these fish and use their bones to make utensils and foraging tools.
